BARBEQUE RESTAURANT CALA DI VOLPE

MEDITERRANEAN GRILL BY THE POOL

The Barbeque Restaurant at Hotel Cala di Volpe offers a more relaxed approach to dining within one of the Costa Smeralda most exclusive properties. Set beside Europe largest saltwater swimming pool, the restaurant delivers Mediterranean grilled cuisine in an atmosphere that captures the essence of summer on the Sardinian coast. It is the ideal venue for a long, unhurried lunch that stretches into the afternoon or a casual dinner that takes advantage of the hotel spectacular outdoor setting.

THE MENU

The menu at the Barbeque Restaurant is centred on the grill. Fresh fish and seafood, premium meats and seasonal vegetables are prepared over open flame and served with Mediterranean accompaniments that let the quality of the ingredients speak for themselves. Salads, light starters and refreshing desserts complete the offering, creating a menu that is perfectly calibrated for the warm climate and the poolside setting. The approach is unfussy and ingredient led, with cooking techniques that emphasise natural flavour, char and simplicity.

The drinks selection includes fresh cocktails, chilled wines and a broad range of non alcoholic options that suit the daytime poolside atmosphere. As evening approaches, the lighting shifts and the ambience becomes more intimate, making the Barbeque Restaurant equally appealing for dinner service.

THE SETTING

There are few dining settings in the Mediterranean that can rival the pool area at Hotel Cala di Volpe. The saltwater pool is enormous, surrounded by shaded huts and loungers, with views that extend across the bay. The Barbeque Restaurant occupies a prime position within this space, allowing guests to move effortlessly between swimming, sunbathing and eating. It represents the most relaxed dining option at the hotel, complementing the more formal experiences at Le Grand, Matsuhisa and Beefbar.
